TWITTER???
Ok now here is what i figured out about Twitter so far. This seems to be a bit more interesting as i keep on checking it out, so i will be doing an update in the next couple of days on how this works out. As for now what i am understanding, Twitter is kind of like a text message that you can post instead of sending, that others can look at and get updated when you post it. It can be something as simple as saying where you plan to go to lunch and what time or it can say what club you are partying at and which one you are going to go to next. Then if you are using this on your phone you can be updated or update others about what is happening at the time. Sometimes something like this works better than calling one or more friends to see what is going on or what they are up to.
I know i am guilty of using e-mails and especially text messages to stay in contact with family, friends, and even most of my customers. These types of updates are easier for me because sometimes what i want to say or let others know is not that important or urgent to make a call and then get caught up in a conversation that we dont always have time for. (everyone knows what I am talking about, you know, you know).
I am going to try and get some of my family and friends involved in Twitter and get their feedback on what they think. Here is my Twitter account.
Also check out my classmates blog about Twitter and this site he found.

I like the fact it is based on someone following me that makes it seem more valuable. My email distribution list is that, mine. My followers are only there as long as they wish to be.

Heh. I know what exactly you’re talking about, Salvador. The GPS feature was what I found most interesting about the service. They seem to be perfecting it still. I’m sure, like most other Web 2.0 services, it will improve over time. My twitter account is aerobic1.

I don’t really like Twitter all that much, but I do see how it can be very useful. I am just more of a phone, e-mail, and text message kind of thing. By the way have you figured out any information on the Getting Thing Done subject.
